Welcome!

Hello.  My name is Siobhan, and I started this blog in September 2009 as a diversion from job hunting/joining the real world.  Though I was jobless, I was very excited about exploring a postgrad life in California, and wanted to share my thoughts and experiences online.

In November I was hired at a crazy tutoring center which, though it paid my bills, had the unfortunate side effect of antiquating my URL/blog description.  So my posts between November and July chronicle my adventures with the overly educated children at the tutoring center, and not - as my URL suggests - my interactions as an unemployed college graduate.

As of August, 2010, my job status has bounced back to its natural state of unemployment.  I have left the tutoring center to join my family in Sweden where my father is working as hard as he can to bring peace between Sweden and the United States.  This means that all posts after August 6, 2010, will be dedicated to my new Swedish adventures.  Swedish massages, fish, meatballs, men, H&M, Ikea - these are a few of the things I will be exploring.

I write about things I like.  I like a lot of things.

This means my posts often contain things like cat photos, Monty Python videos, strange/interesting news articles, and random stuff about the people with whom I interact.  I try to categorize recurring themes (Life Lessons, Funky Word, etc.) to invoke a semblance of consistency, and assist with readablity; both of which I often fail at acheiving.

I enjoy writing.  I hope you enjoy reading.
